| The 1440 Minutes of Le Mans….doesn’t quite have the same allure as 24 Heures du Mans! Yes, this weekend the WEC series LMP prototypes and GT classes head for La Sarthe for the greatest endurance race on the planet. Spectators will be welcomed back to the event with ex F1 drivers Hartley, Nakajima and Buemi leading the WEC Championship. We have some great Le Mans pieces in stock, starting with a unique print by Simon Ward of JJ Lehto winning the 1995 event in the McLaren GTR. This unique example was hand-signed by JJ for a McLaren senior and is framed ready to hang with a genuine badge from the car. For the model collector, we offer a scarce Minichamps / PMA 1/18 model of the Harrods McLaren GTR that came third in the same race but led until the last hour in the hands of Derek Bell, Justin Bell and Andy Wallace. It is presented in a perspex case with GTR Chassis plaque and 8 is also supplied with its original retail packaging. Also from that McLaren-dominated year we offer a rarely available unopened Villiger President victory cigar commissioned by the team to celebrate the win. Mounted and display framed, this is the last one we have in stock. From the Audi works team we have a team cap signed by three times outright Le Mans winner, Allan McNish and an official WEC cap signed by nine times Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen.
