🇧🇪 Spa Treatment 🇧🇪

Formula 1 return this weekend to what is arguably the finest racetrack on the modern F1 calendar: the magnificent Spa Francorchamps. It seems unimaginable that Spa and Monaco are at risk of being dropped in 2023 but such is life being shaken up under Liberty Media…

Spa has been the scene of triumph, tragedy and biblical weather over the years but will always be linked to Michael Schumacher’s debut with Jordan in 1991 and his maiden race win thirty years ago (the last F1 win with a manual gearbox car).

From 1992 we offer a rare crystal prism trophy that was presented to all F1 competitor teams and drivers. This example was hand signed by Michael after his maiden win and after acquisition from a Benetton senior has been in a private collection ever since. A historic piece

We also offer a Camel Benetton paperweight presented to team members by RJ Reynolds as a thank you for a great season running the Camel branding. This came from the same collection and comes in its presentation box.

From the legendary 1991 Jordan Ford 7Up 191 we offer the complete carbon dash assembly and dummy instrumentation panel designed by Andy Stevenson at the start of his career. He is now Sporting Director of Aston Martin.

From Michael’s Ferrari years, we offer a hand signed Bridgestone podium cap and a framed Giclee by David Burk accompanied by an original framed signature of Michael’s on Bridgestone notepaper.

Spa has also been the scene of great battles with other Champions. Ben Payne’s original oil on board “French Flair, Italian Spark” shows Alain Prost at speed through Eau Rouge in the beautiful Ferrari 640, whilst we have a race used pair of “Iceberg” harness pads from Nelson Piquet’s 1988 Camel Lotus Honda, framed and glazed for display.

Last this week, as the 60th anniversary of the first James Bond 007 film is celebrated, we have something rather different to offer. A special OHMSS / Aston Martin related UK cherished registration number on retention. Aston Martin not included!

Thank you

Tim
