Having been dealing in F1 memorabilia for 30 years, it is always a joy to handle significant pieces and this week we are delighted to showcase one of the very best: the OMP racesuit worn by Michael Schumacher to victory in the 1997 Japanese GP for Ferrari.
This suit has everything from the correct OMP / FIA markings and sponsor logos to the genuine signature of Michael on the pocket. It really is a one off piece and a rare opportunity to acquire a piece of F1 history.
Meantime we also have pieces for all budgets including a hand signed letter from Triple F1 champion Nelson Piquet, framed and glazed as well as a race used pair of seat belt harness pads from his 1988 Lotus Honda 100T.
The late Niki Lauda used a Momo steering wheel with Alfa Romeo and endorsed a special edition road car steering wheel based upon his design. These are now very rare but we have an unused example available.
Johnny Herbert will not be with the Sky F1 team in 2023 but we have an original signed and race used visor from his most successful season in 1995 alongside Michael Schumacher available as well as his race seat from the Stewart Ford SF3 of 1999 complete with Lear and Stewart Gp embroidered logos.
Finally we showcase two caps from McLaren in the 1990s: one McLaren Mercedes team cap hand signed in silver by Mika Hakkinen ‘The Flying Finn’ and the other signed by DC, Alex Wurz and Kimi Raikkonen.
Thanks,
Tim
