Tyrrell 024 1996 nose cone cover signed by Ken Tyrrell and Mika Salo

This carbon fibre suspension cover panel is from the 1996 Tyrrell Yamaha 024 car driven by Mika Salo and Ukyo Katayama.

The panel bears Korean Air and Apan 777 logos and has been hand signed by the late Ken Tyrrell and Mika Salo. It has a production label on the underside confirming it was made on 21/3/96.

This rare piece measuring 80 x 35 cm has first rate provenance, being directly donated by Tyrrell Racing into the Brooks run BEN charity auction held at Brooklands on 1st March 1997 (Lot 85) and comes with a copy of the auction catalogue as well as the auction ticket and receipt.

A superb piece with undoubted provenance from the Tyrrell team.
