Rare McLaren F1 1/12 Model In Metallic Blue

This Minichamps / Paul’s Model Art model of the McLaren F1 is a wonderful 1/12 scale representation of the ultimate road car. The model features a highly detailed opening engine and passenger compartments and was fully licensed by McLaren.

When the first edition of these models was released for sale in 1995 they immediately sold out with 400 of each colour available. However, this excluded 25 dark metallic blue versions privately commissioned by McLaren with no barcode or SKU attributed on the box.

This is a very rare opportunity to acquire one of those exclusive 25 examples, not to be confused with the dark blue version released in 2000 with different packaging.

This example is offered in outstanding condition, with only minor light fading to the outer box. It l has been stored for the last 25 years and retains all of its original packaging and mounting plates/ screws intact – only removed for photographs.

This is a superbly detailed and rare model.
