R1 DFV’ Cosworth Ford / Team Lotus / Graham Hill / Jim. Clark related UK registration
We are delighted to offer ‘R1 DFV’, a UK cherished registration perfect for the Ford Cosworth / Team Lotus / Graham Hill and Jim Clark fan.
The DFV ‘double four valve’ V8 engine was the brainchild of Mike Costin and Keith Duckworth of Cosworth and won first time out in the hands of Jim Clark at the 1967 Dutch Grand Prix in the Lotus 49. Chassis R1 was the first of the Lotus 49 cars which used the DFV as a stressed member in the chassis concept to mount the rear suspension.
This registration mark is on a v778 retention certificate with over 9 years entitlement remaining. It can be applied to any UK vehicle registered after September 1st 1997. Lotus Emira not included!
