Proof silver sample Williams F1 1996 Championship 3 medal set in case

Motorsport Memorabilia are delighted to offer a selection of significant and historically important  collectibles coming direct from a former member of the Williams F1 team, never before offered to market.

This presentation cased set of three “proof” struck .999 pure silver commemorative medals was proposed as a limited edition set to be offered after Williams Renault secured the 1996 FiA Formula One World Constructors Championship, as well as Damon Hill’s drivers title. It features three designs, one celebrating Damon’s title, the second celebrating the team win and the third marking Jacques Villeneuve’s maiden F1 race win.

This is understood to be a unique sample set struck for approval and licensing, albeit the edition never progressed commercially.
