Description
When Gordon Murray designed the F1 roadcar, his fastidious attention to weight saving extended to bespoke parts including the hi-if system and toolkit.
For the latter, Gordon’s team commissioned Facom of France. This complete set of five spanners is produced in aerospace quality titanium and coated in titanium nitride to produce the gold finish that matched the 24 carat heat reflection material in the engine bay.
With only 64 road cars sold, these spanners are arguably the rarest and most special tools ever produced as part of a production car. Rarely seen available for sale, this set is complete with the gold finished pliers.
A very special and rare set for the F1 collector
