Description
Michael Schumacher Monaco 1994 seat belt pad and Scrutineer label with Benetton COA
We are privileged to offer this historical and fully authenticated piece that has been in a private collection for 26 years. One of the original Sabelt seat belt pads used by Michael Schumacher when he won the 1994 Monaco Grand Prix driving the Benetton Ford B194 / 05, mounted and framed with the original scrutineers ticket applied to the race-winning chassis at the start of the weekend.
It was the first race after the terrible events of Imola when Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger perished a fortnight earlier and essentially marked the start of the Schumacher era in F1. The seat belt pad is fully authenticated by a period letter from the Benetton team.
This is a one-off opportunity to acquire two pieces that were on the legendary Michael Schumacher’s race-winning car during his victorious Monaco weekend.
