We are privileged to offer this item of McLaren “unobtanium”, an original and unused McLaren F1 road car fire extinguisher which was a customer specified extra option when first ordering the $1m supercar in 1995.

We understand that only 50 of these were produced to the same exacting standard as every component on the Gordon Murray designed car. Whilst the dry powder weight of 1kg was static, the mounting cage is lightweight alloy, designed to mount in the side compartment of the car.

We have never seen another for sale other than fitted in a V12 McLaren road car recently auctioned for $20m! An unrepeatable opportunity (freight restrictions may apply)
