We have recently added this superb and seldom seen original carbon airbox air filter cover piece from the McLaren F1 road car to our stock. This is the first example that we have ever seen for sale.

This piece was fabricated in the early 1990s to the highest standard by Herbie Blash’s Activa composites company  in Chessington for McLaren, to the exact specification of Gordon Murray. In common with other visible engine bay components, the carbon weave is displayed.

We are delighted that Gordon signed this wonderful piece for MM in April 2023 before it was mounted on a perspex display stand, albeit it can be easily removed at the buyers discretion.
