JJ Lehto Signed Simon Ward Print Of McLaren LeMans 1995 Victory With Original GTR Badge

From our special archive of McLaren F1/GTR related pieces, we offer this one off example of the Simon Ward image that was commissioned by Ron Dennis to celebrate the McLaren’s victory at LaSarthe, first time out.

The watercolour image by artist Simon Ward was printed as an edition on high quality parchment to an edition of 500 and given to team members and technical partners of the Gordon Murray project.

This example is believed to be unique insofar as it has been hand signed by race winner JJ Lehto and is mounted framed and glazed with a genuine McLaren F1 badge and is offered together with a personal letter of authenticity from the senior team member who worked alongside Gordon Murray.

Whilst the print has some creasing evident from previous storage, this is a fantastic piece with undoubted provenance.
