JJ Lehto 1994 Benetton Hand Signed And Race Used Visor
In 1994, Finnish driver JJ Lehto competed in 6 races for Benetton, driving the B194. The second driver role was rotated between JJ and Jos Verstappen before Johnny Herbert joined the team for the last two rounds.
Perhaps more poignantly, it was the startline incident between JJ’s stalled B194 car and Pedro Lamy’s Lotus at Imola at the start of the 1994 San Marino GP that brought out the safety car. The rest is history…
Here we are offering a race used smoked Arai visor with Benetton Sportsystem logo strip from JJ’s time with Benetton, hand signed in blue marker and dated by the man himself who went on the secure victory at Le Mans for the McLaren F1 GTR first time out a year later.
