Full set of 15 hand signed covers inc Fangio, Brabham, Stewart

In 1979-80, the late driver and BRDC member, Gordon Haddock produced a series of hand signed first day cover type envelopes to fundraise for the Gunnar Nilson Cancer Trust following the sad death of the Lotus driver in 1978. Artists donated their depiction of the participating motorsport luminaries and each cover was hand signed by them and posted with the postage stamp and postmark of the driver’s home town.

This rare full set consists of 15 individual pieces braving the signatures of:

Chris Amon, SCH Davis, Tony Brooks, Jackie Stewart, Kay Petre, Howden Ganley, Stirling Moss / Jack Fairman, Baron Toulo de Graffenreid, Jack Brabham, Piero Taruffi, Angus Hamilton, Juan Manuel Fangio, Roy Salvadori, Tim Schenken, Taso Mathieson.

Sadly few of these drivers survive today, making this full set a wonderful opportunity to acquire a complete collection that has been in protected storage for over 40 years.
