We are delighted to offer this superb original pair of FIA safety-rated custom race boots prepared for and worn by Fernando Alonso, at the launch of the 2008 Renault F1 car in Paris.

Fernando had left the McLaren team under unusual circumstances as the joint runner-up in the championship in 2007 and rejoined Renault and Flavio Briatore.

2008 proved to be a controversial season for Fernando, with the “crash gate” episode in Singapore, and Alonso testifying as “witness X” in the Spygate case against McLaren.

Regardless, these boots have the correct markings inside the tongue and can be photo matched to the launch event in Paris.
