1999 Stewart Ford SF3 Mounted Throttle Pedal Assembly
We are privileged to offer this unique race used example of the incredible depth of engineering quality that can be found within every F1 car. This bespoke throttle pedal assembly is marked to confirm it is from the Stewart Ford SF3 car driven by Rubens Barrichello and Johnny Herbert in 1999. The assembly was also used by Eddie Irvine in Jerez testing after he left Ferrari as 1999 World Championship runner up, but prior to the launch of Jaguar Racing in 2000.
It is precision engineered from carbon fibre, titanium and aircraft grade steel and is double rose jointed where the oil damper is affixed. Display mounted on a steam formed plywood stand, the pedal can be operated too.
A fantastic conversation piece for the memorabilia collector who has (almost) everything!
