This trophy in the form of a plated salver, measuring 8.5 inches in diameter was awarded to the Lancia Martini works rally team after Juha Kankkunen won the 1987 Lombard RAC Rally in Chester.

This was the first year of Group A after Group B was banned, and the first World Championship season for Juha. The iconic Martini liveried Lancia Delta Integrale cars went on to dominate for several years.

We are delighted to offer this superb piece that comes direct from the collection a F1 journalist. The GH Mumm podium jeroboam comes with its original wooden case. The case was hand signed in black sharpie in 2002 by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello as Scuderia Ferrari team mates during the dominant season that secured Michael’s 5th World Drivers Championship title and Ferrari’s constructors championship.

It was originally offered at a charity auction and has been in the private collection of the winner until now.

After the 1990 F1 season, Ferrari launched a very limited edition range of memorabilia pieces trimmed by the legendary Schedoni leather form in Modena. They were only marketed through Ferrari dealers under the ‘IDEA’ range.

This original cylinder liner from the 1990 641 car driven by Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost has been repurposed by IDEA into a desk tidy. The beautiful Schedoni leather trim has been hand signed by Nigel Mansell adjacent to the Scuderia shield in the leather.

Jochen Rindt holds the sad accolade of being the only posthumous F1 World Champion. He won the title in 1970 despite his fatal accident in pracrice for the Italian GP at Monza, after which his points lead proved unassailable.

Rindt was an entrpreneurial driver under the stewardship of his manager, Bernie Ecclestone. At the time of his passing, Jochen and Bernie had already planned to take over an extant F1 team – a plan that Bernie realised a few years later with Brabham. One of Jochen’s projects was the establishment of the ‘Jochen Rindt Show’, a touring celebration of motor racing that went on to become the popular Essen Racing Show.

As such, he promoted the 1970 shows on the wing of his Lotus 72 and his race helmet. His Team Lotus promo cards also featured the events.

We have new into stock a superb example of one such promocard, showcasing the Vienna event, hand signed by the late Austrian World Champion, mounted and framed. An autograph from his tragic season, this is a must for the Team lotus / World Champion collector.
