After Max Verstappen and Red Bull surprised most of the F1 world by winning at Monza and McLaren came under fire for the latest interpretation of ‘Papaya Rules’, the circus heads to Azerbaijan for the next race at the end of September.

Meantime, as hinted in our last Newsletter, we have onboarded some absolutely incredible pieces and one off items for the enthusiast including TWO Formula 1 race winning trophies, TWO world championship winning year race used steering wheels as well as a very rare Ferrari, Williams and McLaren items

Keke Rosberg only won a single F1 GP race during his championship year in 1982 : the Swiss GP held at Dijon. His maiden F1 race win and the only Swiss GP since 1954 (albeit held in France), the trophy consisted of a Swiss cowbell that has been in the custody of a former Williams team member since the mid 1980s when Frank Williams gave it away (he wasn’t a fan of it) !  Now offered to market for the first time after a light restoration and clean, a totally unrepeatable opportunity.

Many of us will remember the 2003 Brazilian GP which was cut short in heavy rain and Kimi Raikkonen was declared the winner, only for the race win to be awarded to Giancarlo Fisichella on countback. At the following race weekend in Imola, the trophy was transferred between Kimi and Fisi with Ron Dennis and EJ at a memorable press photocall. We are delighted to offer that very trophy with superb provenance from the last Ford powered F1 race win to date, Jordan’s last and Fisi’s first. Another unrepeatable piece.

From Nelson Piquet’s triumphant 1987 season, we offer a race used steering wheel from his Williams Honda FW11b, hand signed by the 3x Brazilian Formula One World Champion

Race used items from the Ron Dennis era at McLaren are incredibly rare and we are delighted to offer a carbon mirror housing from the MP4/25a car driven by Hamilton and Button in 2010. Finished in stunning chromem with Johnnie Walker logo and internal sensor mounts, this is the only such piece we have ever seen come to market

Meantime from a former Enstone senior, we offer a 2008 Fernando Alonso Arai marketing helmet painted by his artist, Aerodiseno as well as a carbon race used steering wheel with electronics from Fernando’s R26 2006 championship winning car.

A 1996 Scuderia Ferrari team shirt from future Scuderia chief mechanic, Francesco Uguzzoni, beautifully signed by Michael Schumacher as well as a matched pair of Keke Rosberg Williams FW09 secondary rear wing end plates and a Rosberg signed Williams steering wheel have also recently arrived into stock.

Please browse the MM website for the full range of wonderful items that we are privileged to offer.

Thanks,

Tim
