As the sun sets on the most unusual 2021 F1 season, we reflect on not simply another brace of Mercedes and Hamilton championships, but some real surprises.
Race wins for Gasly and Perez, the inclusion of races at Turkey, Imola, Portimao, Mugello and George Russell driving an AMG Petronas Mercedes F1 car would have been considered ludicrous ideas a year ago.
A season of any sorts looked dubious even eight months ago, let alone a 17 race calendar. Such has been the pace of change where organisational agility and the dedication of teams that has allowed F1 to deliver a season, it is perhaps helpful to simply reflect.
Here at MM we have been privileged to exclusively offer pieces from the archive of the esteemed former Times F1 correspondent, Kevin Eason as well as significant items from a former senior at a Enstone. It has been quite a year and we would like to thank all of our clients and followers to wish you a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous, COVID safe 2021.
Meanwhile we showcase some fantastic pieces currently available for sale.
