McLaren caught everyone napping with their new livery reveal a full month ahead of most of the 2024 launches.
That said we have seen a striking orange and black livery before in 2001 when Max Verstappen’s father Jos raced for Arrows. From that year we have an Arai visor hand signed by Jos with Orange strip as well as a pre season testing suit used by Pedro de lA Rosa at Barcelona testing a year earlier.
New into stock this week we showcase two superb signed Ferrari statistical review books. Privately published, these were not sold to the public and are rarely seen. We have a 2011 year hand signed by Fernando Alonso and a 2006 year signed by the dream team of Schumacher, Brawn, Todt and Montezemolo.
As 80s nostalgia hits new highs we have a great example of a Mk1 TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch with its very rare original box. The packaging illustrates the TAG Porsche McLaren F1 car whilst the watch itself is a very appealing yellow and black design. Freshly serviced with new battery and glass, the perfect gift for a 1980s F1 fan.
