Australia proved to be an unexpectedly great race with plenty of action from Carlos Sainz’ victory only two weeks after his appendectomy, to last laps controversy between Russell and Alonso.

Meantime as we approach the Easter weekend, many of us will remember Ayrton Senna’s masterclass in monsoon conditions on lap 1 of the European Grand Prix held on Easter Sunday 1993 when he went from 5th to first and won the race having lapped everyone apart from Damon Hill who trailed him by 1m 23s. From that weekend we offer a race day ticket hand signed by Ayrton Senna and Martin Brundle.

Also from the Senna McLaren years, we offer an original Bell visor used by Ayrton during his winning weekend at Spa Francorchamps in 1988, later hand signed by Senna before he left the team. This wonderful piece has incredible FOCA provenance.

From F1 to LeMans, also new into our stock is a 1/8 scale Amalgam model of the legendary Harrods McLaren F1 GTR 06R driven to 3rd place in the 24 Heueres du Mans in 1995 by Derek Bell, Andy Wallace and Justin Bell. A wonderful piece

Other notable McLaren collectibles available include Bruno Senna’s hand signed 570GT steering wheel, F1 GTR press packs from the Gulf, Harrods, West and Davidoff teams and the 2006 F1 test team steering wheel complete with all paddles and electronics as removed from the MP4/21 car.

Thank you,

Tim Scott
