Real Art Replicas, part of the very successful Acme Diecast organisation has produced this very accurate handcrafted model in a limited edition of 99 pieces. The model comes with both base and acrylic cover along with an individual serialised plate and certificate of authenticity.

The interior of the model is finely detailed which highlights the difference between an F1 car of the early 90s and the incredibly technically driven cockpits of the modern era.

All in all a must have model.

The car was driven by Michael Schumacher in his F1 debut race at the Spa Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium in 1991. Michael’s opportunity to drive the 191 came about through an extraordinary set of circumstances in that the regular contracted driver Bertrand Gachot was imprisoned in London prior to the Spa race weekend for spraying a London taxi driver with C S Gas in an argument over the cost of a fare.

Michael was drafted in to drive the 191 for the 7UP Team Jordan at the Spa Francorchamps Circuit in the Belgian Grand Prix. He tested the car at Silverstone for a couple of hours before the team left for Spa. Michael was enjoying the test so much that he had to be persuaded to end his time in the car.

So, on to Spa, Michael qualified 7th in the 191, sadly after a great start his clutch failed after only a mile. After much negotiating Michael left Jordan to drive for Benetton at Monza whereby Roberto Moreno took over car 32 for the Monza and Estoril Grand Prixs, with Alessandro Zanardi finishing the 1991 season driving the car with mixed success in Spain, Japan and Australia.
