🇮🇹 Imola… 🇮🇹

The F1 circus starts its 2024 European leg at the Imola circuit this weekend. There is no doubt that the memory of Ayrton Senna will be in many people’s minds after he perished 30 years ago at Tamburello. It is perhaps rather fitting this year that the Imola race will be immediately followed by Monaco where Ayrton’s total of six victories remains unsurpassed.

Max Verstappen’s ‘victory march’ was thwarted in Miami by the popular win for Lando Norris, but we expect the Red Bull to be strong again in Emilia Romagna. We have just added to stock an official replica 1:2 scale helmet as used by Max to win the 2023 Japanese GP, hand signed to the red mirrored visor by the 3x champion and current championship leader.

New into stock this week we also showcase a piece of Monaco history : an original podium bottle from the 1978 Monaco GP, hand signed by legendary F1 World Champions, Emerson Fittipaldi and Mario Andretti complete with accreditation pass.

A wonderful hand built and glass cased 1:43 model of Ayrton Senna in his Toleman at Casino Square in 1984 makes a superb centrepiece and two fantastic art pieces by Ben Payne celebrate the career of the mercurial Brazilian : Casino Champion and Brazilian Eyes. 

The McLaren F1 roadcar was launched at the Monaco Sporting Club in 1992 and we have available two incredibly rare copies of the launch brochure : the first being the softback and the second being an incredibly rare hardback that was given the vetted clients who had placed deposits. Both examples were hand signed exclusively for MM by Gordon Murray at his home in 2022.
