🇯🇵 Getting a Grip at Suzuka 🇯🇵

Ahead of the enforced one month April break that was scheduled to include Bahrain and Saudi, the teams are at the majestic Suzuka, Japan this weekend.

The circuit was designed as Honda’s test and development facility by a Dutchman, John Hugenholtz, who had designed the Zandvoort circuit. It is unique in having a figure 8 layout with a crossover.

We have a great array of new items this week including a superb full scale licensed replica of the 2024 Williams FW24 steering wheel used by Albon and Colapinto. This was the first Williams F1  steering wheel to feature a built in display and the first full scale F1 replica steering wheel produced by Minichamps. It is one of only 99 produced worldwide that were sold out immediately, with absolutely superb and accurate detailing and display stand. We do not expect this to be around for long.

For the collector of driver gloves, we offer an officially licensed pair of Sergio Perez gloves from his McLaren season in 2013 and a replica pair of Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari 2002 gloves by OMP,  as well as race used examples from Nico Rosberg, Ralf Schumacher and the race used gloves worn by Lewis Hamilton to secure the 2006 GP2 title at Monza with incredible provenance.

Race suits are also highly prized peices and we have examples from Jenson Button, Keke Rosberg, Nico Rosberg, Pedro de la Rosa, as well as Lewis’ father, Anthony.

Happy browsing!

Thanks,

Tim
