Whilst most of us in Europe are enduring or enjoying the current heatwave, the trackside operations of this incredibly intriguing F1 season are taking a well earned break.
A couple of the F1 teams are finding the heat in the kitchen a little more troublesome on the driver front, in Woking McLaren are reportedly ditching an Australian driver and replacing him with an Australian rookie driver managed by an Australian ex F1 driver, no doubt causing the ebullient Zak Brown the odd headache.
At the Alpine team they appear to have lost the old stager Fernando Alonso and allegedly their protege Oscar Piastri, no doubt Fernando is very pleased with his new contract at Aston Martin working for the incredibly successful Lawrence Stroll.
