Qatar delivered an unexpected 70th GP win for Max Verstappen as McLaren’s strategy blunder under safety car conditions failed in an attempt to be fair to both drivers under ‘Papaya Rules’ and scuppered Oscar’s chances of a GP race win to add to his Sprint victory. Consequently, three drivers go to Abu Dhabi with a shot at the title and Lando’s lead is now only 12 points ahead of Max with Oscar 4 points behind in third.

Oscar is still in the chase to become Australia’s third World Champion after Alan Jones and Jack Brabham. We are delighted to be able to offer a replica of Sir Jack’s silver 1970 Bell helmet with a hand signed peak – a helmet that inspired Daniel Ricciardo’s helmet in the 2019 Chinese GP  – the 1000th F1 race.

Carlos Sainz scored a popular second podium under the lights of Losail. New into stock we have a Williams Heritage cap hand signed to the peak by Carlos as well as a Ferrari cap signed by Lewis Hamilton, whose struggles at Ferrari continue with yet another weekend he would rather forget.

Fifty years ago, Hesketh Racing was the talk of F1 with their ‘upstart’ driver, James Hunt. We are delighted to offer a 1975 driver profile book hand signed by the 1976 World Champion as well as a race used Cosworth DFV piston from his Zandvoort winning 308 car coming to market for the first time from a private collection. In addition, we have a nose section from Jody Scheckter’s Tyrrell Ford 007 car, damaged at the 1975 British GP at Silverstone from the same source A  superb 1993 Camel Benetton Ford team shirt from Michael Schumacher’s second full season in F1 rounds up our new stock this week.

This weekend also marked four years since the sad passing oif Sir Frank Williams. We have one remaining pit pass used by Sir Frank and also a plaque personally presented to him at Imola 2005. These are unrepeatable pieces of genuine history.

We have new pieces arriving weekly at present so please do look at the website!

Thank You,

Tim
