It was an odd feeling knowing that last Sunday should have been the Bahrain GP – akin to the COVID lockdown in some ways when the 2020 season was decimated. The official F1 YouTube channel screened the entire 2021 Bahrain race, which clearly confused some fans as their comments suggested that Abu Dhabi and Bahrain were one and the same!

Let us hope that the various team / Liberty / FiA meetings taking place absent any GPs are going to result in safer and less gimmicky racing when the circus does resume in Miami, although with that being the capital of gimmicks, that seems unlikely!

This week we showcase a selection of pieces that have recently been added to stock including a fantastic 1:1 replica Williams FW46 steering wheel assembly, a Mumm jeroboam in its wooden box signed by Rubens and Michael, a special Silverstone edition Lewis signed Ferrari cap and a wonderful model of Bloodhound by Amalgam.

From our selection of rare McLaren road car pieces we now have a very rare 1996 F1 GTR magnesium race wheel and slick tyre, a P1 prototype rim and a Senna titanium exhaust finisher.

For the rally enthusiast, we offer the winning team trophy awarded to Lancia Martini for coming 1st at the Lombard RAC rally in Chester in 1987, whilst a rare Keke Rosberg testing racesuit from the 1980s is a fine piece from the 1982 F1 World Champion.

Many of these items are unrepeatable and have come to market for the first time via MM.

Happy browsing!

Thanks,

Tim
