The great and the good from the world of motorsport gathered in London last weekend for the annual Autosport awards. In past years, the table centrepieces and other items exclusive to the event have been sold for charity.
We are delighted to offer a copy of the 1987 Autosport awards print by Nicholas Watts of Senna and Piquet at Spa in 1987, framed and glazed. From more recent years, Amalgam models produced a sculptural 1/18 scale model of the Ferrari 640 and the Brabham BT52. These wonderful pieces bear plaques hand signed by Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet respectively and are a fantastic and rare collectible.
From Fernando Alonso’s 2009 season we offer a pair of his ING Renault race gloves by Puma.
Niki Lauda was recently immortalised by having a road renamed in his honour near to the Mercedes factory in Brackley. We offer a rare Momo ‘signature’ edition steering wheel from the late 1970s based upon his F1 design.
For the Sebastian Vettel fan, we offer a matched pair of race used inconel titanium exhaust outlets from his 2009 Red Bull.
Ayrton Senna is remembered in the wonderful ‘Boy from Sao Paolo’ bust by Peter Close which will grace the collection of any fan of the mercurial Brazilian.
Meanwhile, our McLaren F1 / GTR speciality is complemented by the original XP2 carbon bonnet panel with authentication from McLaren as well as the original signature of Gordon Murray. A truly wonderful piece.
Thank you!
Tim
