As the teams regroup and focus on 2023 after the race finale, the Abu Dhabi test took place this week with new faces and teams partnered: Gasly at Alpine, Alonso at Aston Martin and Hulk at Haas amongst others.
From the pre-season test at Barcelona on 2000, we offer a unique racesuit used by Pedro de la Rosa before Arrows revealed their striking livery with Orange Sponsorship. Pedro has recently been appointed as brand ambassador for Aston Martin Racing and will be a regular feature in the paddock.
Our McLaren F1/GTR expertise has resulted in the consignment of arguably one of the most important original pieces ever made available to the collector market. XP2 was the second prototype built and was used as the crash test chassis which was used at MiRA. The ‘bonnet’ panel was removed before this and has been in a private collection since 1997. We are offering this wonderful piece complete with original markings, hand signed and dated by Gordon Murray and accompanied by authentication from Derek Waeland, Production Director, as well as confirmation from McLaren that this significant piece is unencumbered. A wonderful unique piece.
