☔️ Calm after the (Brazilian) Storm! 🏁

Wow! What a weekend at the Sao Paolo Brazilian Grand Prix. Controversy (again) with race control and stewarding decisions, team orders impacting the Sprint result and an absolute masterclass drive from Max Verstappen in monsoon conditions that silenced many of his detractors.

It looks as if Lando Norris’ title challenge is all but over with three races and one Sprint remaining with a deficit of 62 points and only 86 available. However, the unusually silent Zak Brown will not be licking his wounds for long as the Woking team head the constructors standings.

We currently have in stock an Oracle Red Bull cap and an official half scale replica of Max’s 2023 Las Vegas GP helmet both hand signed by the World Champion who looks set to make it as a 4x World Champion this year.

As we reflect on the wet Interlagos weekend, comparisons with Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna are inevitable. We have available a hand signed Bridgestone cap from the 7x Champion and a superb 1/43 hand made diorama of Ayrton at Monaco in 1984 during similar wet conditions in which he also excelled.

Fernando Alonso passed the milestone of his 400th race entry at Mexico, although his 400th race start will actually be in Qatar (Russia 2017, USA 2005 and Belgium 2001 did not rank as race starts for Fernando). We have a pair of his Renault race boots, a superb special edition 1/18 Ferrari from the Sir Christopher Gent collection and a hand signed Aston Martin cap in stock.

TAG Heuer will be taking over from Rolex as official timing partner to F1 next year. We have available a superb example of a McLaren team issue Carrera automatic chronograph in stock as well as a McLaren team only watch presented to the squad by the Ojjeh family after Mansour’s passing a few years ago.

Many thanks,

Tim
