The circus heads straight from Austria to Silverstone this weekend for the British Grand Prix, a circuit held dear to many and the scene of some incredible scenes over the years. It was also the venue for the first ever Formula One World Championship race in 1950.

This week we make no excuses for featuring superb collectible pieces from British Formula 1 World Champions, starting with a wonderful promotional racesuit from Jenson Button’s Silverstone weekend in 2004, complete with a letter of authentication direct from the Honda F1 team. A stunning suit.

Lewis Hamilton remains the most successful British Grand Prix driver with 8 home victories. We are delighted to offer a race used pair of his 2013 Mercedes GP boots with undoubted provenance, a pair of his 2020 biotech AMG Mercedes gloves by Puma and a signed ART GP2 shirt from his title winning 2006 season. We even have a worn racesuit from Lewis’ father, Anthony!

Nigel Mansell is a firm favourite with collectors and we have several superb pieces from the driver that Ferrari’s Tifosi nicknamed “Il Leone”, including a signed Amalgam / Autosport Awards Ferrari 640 sculpture piece with hand signed plaque, Piero Ferrari’s personal invitation to Gestione Sportiva dated December 1989 that is signed by Mansell, Prost and Berger as well as an Alan Fearnley limited edition print “Honda Supremacy” depicting Mansell winning at Brands Hatch.

Here’s to a great weekend!

Thank you

Tim
