As the teams commence activities at the first Australian GP weekend since 2019, there is huge excitement in Melbourne for the resurgent Ferrari squad. The Scuderia have enjoyed 6 wins at Albert Park since 1996 and who would bet against them being strong on Sunday?
New into stock we have a wonderful Michael Schumacher Ferrari visor from pre-season testing in 2000. Signed in Silver sharpie in Barcelona that year, it has been in a private collection for over 20 years since. Also from the Schumacher years at the Scuderia we have a wonderful boxed set of paperweights celebrating five consecutive Constructors titles. These were never offered for sale as a boxed set, but were presented to team partners by Luca Montezemolo.
Also new in stock we have a superb Takuma Sato original Arai GP5 promotional helmet as used by the Honda team in 2005. Painted by Takuma’s Japanese helmet artist, Studio Komo, it has a hand signed visor fitted. Items such as this from the popular double Indy 500 winner are rarely seen on the market.
We also have on offer an original Team Lotus (Enstone) gilet and jacket from the 2012 and 2014 seasons. New and unworn, in size L these are priced to sell
In other exciting news as the 30th anniversary approaches of the launch of the greatest roadcar ever built, we will shortly showcase some further rare McLaren F1 related pieces, after they have been signed by Gordon Murray in the next few weeks at his home, exclusively for MM. These include an exceptionally rare metallic blue 1/12 scale model by PMA and a hardback launch brochure from the event in Monaco in May1992 that was sent to pre-vetted potential buyers.
Meantime enjoy the race on Sunday!
