Highly respected professional photographer, Colin Curwood, was entrusted to shoot the first images of the McLaren F1 for promotional materials. The location was a slate quarry and Colin’s images of the silver XP car with the higher level mirrors have gained legendary status.

We are delighted to offer a set of 3 images (one hand signed by Gordon Murray) together with a cutaway print of McLaren’s own XP5 car. These come from the archive of a former McLaren employee.
