West McLaren Mercedes 1998 driver racesuit
This Sparco racesuit represents a very rare opportunity to acquire a full FiA nomex rated, 1998 period West McLaren Mercedes racesuit (un-named) from the MP4/98T2 programme.
The suit is identical (inc all sponsors / full tobacco) to the race suits used by Hakkinen and Coulthard in the 1998/9 season bar the absence of driver name. The suit is size 52 and would have been worn by passengers in the 2 seat McLaren when driven by Darren Turner, David Coulthard, Mika Häkkinen, Niki Lauda, Martin Brundle and Chris Goodwin. The first guest to take a ride was Murray Walker (driven by Brundle).
The suit comes complete with Sparco race bag and photographs from the programme which eventually took 150 passengers for the ride of a lifetime.
