Silverstone. The venue for the first Formula 1 World Championship race in 1950, whilst this year also marks the 100th anniversary of the first British Grand Prix held at Brookalnds.

The race has provided some incredible memories over the decades and we are delighted to offer some fantastic items including Jody Scheckter’s 1975 British Grand Prix Tyrrell nosecone, damaged at the mulitiple car accident at Club corner. Unrepeatable.

In 1990, Nigel Mansell threw his gloves into the crowd and announced his retirement. We have a genuine Ferrari piston sleeve from his 1990 Ferrari 640 car, trimmed by Schedoni of Modena in tan leather and hand signed by Il Leone.

Lewis Hamilton remains a fan favourite and we have two Ferrari caps hand signed by Lewis as well as George Russell and Kimi Antonelli signed caps.

Rubens Barrichello won the rain soaked 2003 event and we have a superb replica of his 2002 USGP race winning helmet painted on a genuine Arai helmet, together with a Tiffany cut glass platter celebrating that very win, presented by Tony George who owned the Indianapolis circuit.

From my own collection, we offer a selection of race umbrellas including EJR / Jordan Grand Prix examples from when the team was based in Silverstone, as well as a cut glass Jordan GP golf event winners trophy presented by EJ to the winner at the Belfry in 2003.

Happy browsing!

Thanks,

Tim
