McLaren F1 roadcar OE fire extinguisher

We are privileged to offer genuine McLaren F1 roadcar items direct from the collection of a former member of Gordon Murray’s team in the 1990s that date from the development phase of the car. These represent an unrepeatable opportunity for the serious collector.

This original and unused McLaren F1 road car fire extinguisher was a customer specified extra option when first ordering the $1m supercar in 1995.

We understand that only 50 of these were produced to the same exacting standard as every component on the Gordon Murray designed car. Whilst the dry powder weight of 1kg was static, the mounting cage is lightweight alloy, designed to mount in the side compartment of the car.

We have previously sold the only other example to come to market outside of a complete car (freight restrictions may apply).
