After the eventful Sprint weekend at Shanghai, it is a sad sign of the times that the conflict in Iran has jeopardised the safety of F1 personnel, drivers and fans to the extent that the Bahrain and Saudi Grand Prix weekends have been cancelled. With only Japan between now and Miami in early May, at least there will be time for some teams to work on their cars as it is clear that there is a huge gulf between the ends of the grid in terms of the implementation of the new regulations, even for Williams and McLaren who are using the currently dominant Mercedes PU.

A first win for Kimi Antonelli in Shanghai – the youngest ever F1 winner in GP history – was a joy to see, whilst Lewis Hamilton finally got his first podium in his second season and 26th race for the Scuderia. We have hand signed caps in stock from championship leader, George Russell as well as Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

With winners in mind, we are delighted to offer an unusual piece of history : The Winning Team salver trophy awarded to the Lancia Martini works team when Juha Kankkunen who the 1987 Lombard RAC Rally en route to his World Championship title. An unrepeatable opportunity.

Also new to the site this week we have a race used coil cover from the 1998 World Championship winning Mercedes FO110G engine used in the West McLaren by Mika Hakkinen to secure his first World Championship, hand signed ‘The Flying Finn’ by Mika.

Our premium pieces include the last pair of pre-F1 gloves worn by Lewis Hamilton to secure the GP2 title in 2006 and a Moet Jeroboam in a crate signed by Schumacher and Barrichello.

We have also listed some superb original Formula 1 paddock / pit passes from the archive of renowned journalist, Rob Widdows.

Thanks,

Tim
