β˜€οΈ Summer Break and a Williams Collection 😎

This year’s championship remains delicately poised after Lando Norris won at the Hungaroring, optimising his one stop strategy. However, the big news of the weekend centred around a very despondent Lewis Hamilton declaring he was β€œuselessβ€œ and that Ferrari might consider a driver change.

Whilst I have no doubt that he will be back on the grid at Zandvoort, there is much speculation in the press.

Meantime, we are delighted to offer the first selection of rare pieces from the archive of a long-standing Williams team member who saw all of their championships between 1980 and 1997.

Keke Rosberg won the driver’s world championship in 1982 and we have a matched pair of rear wing endplates from his FW09c and a signed steering wheel from his time with the team.

Many Formula One careers were started at Williams both on track and off track and we have two team shirts available, one from Paddy Lowe (1988 season) and the other from James Robinson (1990 season). Both are in superb condition and date from the start of two illustrious Formula One careers.

From the Alan Jones era, we have a Tag Williams golf umbrella. Whilst it is in used condition, we have never seen another available. Moving into the 1990s, we have a team umbrella used to shelter the drivers on the grid with the unique Rothmans Ltd branding used for the Canadian Grand Prix.

Other items include a 1999 rear wheel, several team jackets and two very special visors, a 1984 signed Jacques Lafitte GPA and a 1983 signed Michele Alboreto Boeri.

We do not expect these very rare pieces to be available for long.

Meantime, enjoy the summer break.

Thanks,

Tim
